Background - Ryan Chilcote has been studying guitar for 14 years.  Ryan has studied classical guitar, electric guitar, and music theory (I, II, III, and IV) at York College of Pennsylvania, and Harrisburg Area Community College.  He earned an Associates degree in Music Business from H.A.C.C.  Mr. Chilcote is also a private guitar instructor at Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC.)

Teaching Approach - Mr. Chilcote teaches the fundamentals of music. By teaching the student the fundamentals on which music is built, the student can then apply these fundamentals to any music situation that might occur. In a sense, after learning the basics of music/guitar, the student can then further his or her ability to play the guitar by teaching him or herself.
